The Slip, The Barr Brothers, Surprise Me Mr. Davis and Nathan Moore are among the High Sierra Music Festival 2025 lineup additions. HSMF returns to Plumas County Fairgrounds in Quincy, California on July 3 – 6.

The Slip – guitarist Brad Barr, his brother, drummer Andrew Barr, and bassist Marc Friedman – has a long history with High Sierra Music Festival, having played the long-running event many times. Nathan Moore, “the mayor of High Sierra,” also has a deep connection to HSMF.

“I believe this is going to be year 17 returning to High Sierra,” Andrew Barr said. “It was the first music festival that I ever was invited to play outside of our hometown, and it’s meant the world to us to return year in and year out to play for you beautiful people in all these different formats.”

Surprise Me Mr. Davis features Moore backed by The Slip. The Barr Brothers will be performing as a duo at this year’s High Sierra.

“I cannot wait to get back to High Sierra Music Festival,” Moore added. “The birthplace of so much of my life, so many friendships. So much music, the greater community – I owe so much to High Sierra Music Festival, and I can’t wait to get back there and give all I got back to it.”

Also among the recent rolling lineup additions to HSMF 2025 include Broken Compass Bluegrass, Parlor Greens and Mitchum Yacoub. HSMF launched the lineup roll out this week by confirming Ron Artis II and Mikaela Davis as part of the 2025 lineup.

Additional High Sierra Music Festival 2025 lineup confirmations are expected to be revealed on a continuing basis. Click below for more information and ticketing links and scroll on to watch the Barr brothers, Friedman and Moore’s announcement video.
