Heartbreaker Banquet provides guests a one-of-a-kind music experience completely removed from the SXSW festival hoards. Electric Lady Studios and Robot Fondue have curated a full day of music, food, fashion, and featured attractions held at Nelson’s “Luck, Texas”, a longtime creative hub for some of the world’s most heralded musicians.
The concert will showcase artists on two main stages: an outdoor “Medicine Show” stage for featured performances; and an acoustic stage in the town’s intimate 50-seat chapel, where guests have the opportunity to sit within arm’s length of their favorite artists.
The event will feature live musical performances, food trucks curated by Immaculate Infatuation, specialty cocktails created by famed Mixologist Greg Seider (Minetta Tavern, The Summit Bar), a tattoo parlor, and event lighting and design from Gypsy Sun Vintage. Jack White’s own Third Man Records “Rolling Record Store” will serve Heartbreaker’s official record pop- up shop.
Ticketholders will have the option of taking private buses from a select number of hotspots in Austin directly to the venue. Guest parking will also be available, and a shuttle service will be running the short distance between the parking lot and the venue throughout the night.
Heartbreaker Banquet 2013 is benefiting the SIMS Foundation, providing mental health services to Austin Musicians.
