Heart reported that irreplaceable instruments were stolen from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City a day before the band kicked off their summer tour at the venue on May 31. Among the items missing is a custom purple sparkle baritone Fender Telecaster with a hand-painted headstock, created specifically for Nancy Wilson and a 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin played by band member Paul Moak for 25 years.
“These instruments are more than just tools of our trade — they’re extensions of our musical souls,” Nancy Wilson said. “The baritone Tele was made uniquely for me, and Paul’s mandolin has been with him for decades. We’re heartbroken, and we’re asking for their safe return—no questions asked. Their value to us is immeasurable.”
