Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Confirms 10 Additional 2018 Acts

On October 5 – 7, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass free music festival returns to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Organizers recently confirmed an additional 10 acts set to play the Warren Hellman-founded event.

Three medleys, which each contain portions of music from 10 HSB ’18 acts, have been shared thus far as a teaser of the full lineup announcement. Hardly Strictly Bluegrass revealed the 10 acts featured in the third medley are Del McCoury Band, Los Lobos, Matador! Soul Sounds, Deer Tick, Kieran Kane & Rayna Gellert, Marco & The Polos, Steve Forbert, David Bromberg Quintet, Patty Griffin and Sera Cahoone.

The 10 acts from the third medley join a lineup that already included The Greyboy Allstars, Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, Jeff Tweedy, I’m With Her, Roky Erickson, Robyn Hitchcock: Electrospective, Ani Difranco, Tim O’Brien, Gregory Alan Isakov, Howlin’ Rain, Courtney Marie Andrews, Darlingside, Aki Kumar, Gomez, JD Mcpherson, Evolfo, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Andrea Gibson and Four Year Bender. Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2018 will feature over 100 acts.
