Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Finalizes 2019 Lineup


Judy Collins, Bill Frisell, The New Pornographers, Punch Brothers, Moonalice and several others were named as part of the final Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2019 lineup. The free music festival will return to San Francisco’s’ Golden Gate Park on October 4 – 6.

Other HSB 2019 performers include a Chris Thile-led recording of Live From Here with Grace Potter and J.S. Ondara. There will also be performances by Lebo & Friends featuring Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz of ALO with George Porter Jr., John Molo, Wally Ingram, Adam Macdougall and Jenniffer Hartswick and Frisell’s Harmony set will feature the guitarist joined by Petra Haden, Hank Roberts and Luke Bergman.

The lineup now features Shooter Jennings, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Budos Band, Mapache, Chastity Brown and Fantastic Negrito, as well as Mercury Rev and Beth Orton performing Bobbie Gentry’s The Delta Sweete. Among the previously scheduled acts include Robert Plant, Margo Price, Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Hot Tuna, The Infamous Stringdusters, Jackie Greene, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Tanya Tucker, Hiss Golden Messenger and The Milk Carton Kids.
