Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2016 Confirms First 10 Acts

San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park will host the 2016 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass music festival September 30 – October 2. Organizers of the annual free event have confirmed the first 10 acts playing HSB this year.

Previewed in a mystery medley earlier this week, the 10 artists who were included in the audio teaser have been confirmed to be Mavis Staples, The Infamous Stringdusters, Rosanne Cash, The Mother Hips, The California Honeydrops, Elephant Revival, CAKE, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Buddy Miller & Marc Ribot and Bobby Bare. The complete lineup will include more than 100 different performances across the event’s seven stages. Expect more lineup-revealing medleys in the coming weeks.
