Hard Working Americans Announce Spring Tour

Supergroup Hard Working Americans will soon hit the road in support of their new album Rest In Chaos which will be issued May 13 on Melvin Records/Thirty Tigers. Today, the band announced a series of 11 shows in May including performances in the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
Hard Working Americans are currently slated to begin the tour at Park West in Chicago May 14. Reed Foehl will open in Chicago as well as performances in Columbus on May 15, New York City on May 17, Boston on May 18, Alexandria on May 20 and Richmond on May 21. From there, HWA visit Raleigh on May 22, Asheville on May 24 and Memphis on May 25 with Town Mountain aboard as support. The tour is currently expected to end with concerts in St. Louis on May 26 and Kansas City on May 27 featuring Lauren Barth as support.
The group featuring vocalist Todd Snider, bassist Dave Schools, guitarist Neal Casal, drummer Duane Trucks, keyboardist Chad Staehly and lap steel/guitarist Jesse Aycock wrote all but one of the 13 tracks on Rest In Chaos. Schools produced the follow-up to their 2014 self-titled debut album, which was recorded live while the band was on tour and includes a take on Guy Clark’s “The High Price of Inspiration.”
