Happy Birthday Roger Waters: Us + Them Tour Comes To Moscow

By Scott Bernstein Sep 6, 2018 1:50 pm PDT

Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters turns 75 today. Waters co-founded the legendary British rock band in 1965. The group went on to become one of the most successful acts of its generation thanks to such iconic albums as The Wall, The Dark Side Of The Moon and Animals, each of which was masterminded by Waters. Roger parted ways with Pink Floyd in 1985 and has since focused on solo endeavors including his current Us + Them World Tour.

Roger Waters’ Us + Them World Tour began on May 26, 2017 and is currently slated to end in December. Waters and his talented backing band present a mix of Pink Floyd classics and solo material at each stop including a number of songs from 2017’s Is This The Life We Really Want? The concerts are visual spectacles that utilize a slew of video screens and unique production elements such as the iconic inflatable pig first unveiled by Pink Floyd in 1977.
