Happy Birthday Jerry Garcia: Jerry’s Best Interviews On Video

Twenty-one years ago today Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia celebrated his 53rd and final birthday, passing away days later on August 9, 1995. Not only was Jerry an incredible musician unlike any other, he had the personality and wit to match. Spend 40 minutes today watching an incredible compilation featuring some of JG’s best interview moments captured on video.

The compilation starts with a clip from 1967 and runs in chronological order through a segment titled “Jerry’s wishful words” in 1991. Following the interview footage, we watch as Garcia delivers a heartfelt “So Many Roads” at Sam Boyd Silver Bowl on June 26, 1994 in Las Vegas.
