Born on this date in 1944 in Wallington, England, renowned guitarist Jeff Beck today celebrates his 76th birthday. Since being brought in by Jimmy Page to replace Eric Clapton in The Yardbirds, Beck’s signature fluid style has flourished in many settings including as a bandleader, solo artist and guest performer. In honor of Jeff Beck’s birthday, JamBase examines recordings featuring a diverse collection of collaborations from across Beck’s storied career via a 21-track Spotify Playlist.
