Today marks what would have been George Harrison’s 73rd birthday. Born February 25, 1943, the guitarist dubbed the “Quiet Beatle” passed – as all things must – on November 29, 2001 at the young age of 58. Harrison left behind a storied body of work both within The Beatles and without the legendary foursome as he went on to a successful solo career after the band’s breakup.
