World renowned guitarist Derek Trucks turns a spry 36-years-old today. The former guitarist in The Allman Brothers Band has forged an impressive and prolific career since bursting onto the scene as six-string wunderkind decades ago. He’s traded licks with master guitarists like B.B. King, Buddy Guy Eric Clapton, Trey Anastasio, Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring and many many more while developing a signature slide-based style and sound.
