In response to British singer Sam Smith having to cancel is previously scheduled appearance at this weekend’s Hangout Beach, Music & Arts Festival due to vocal chord surgery, Hangout Festival organizers have announced the addition of Diplo and Skrillex’s collaborative project Jack Ü as well as a number of changes to the lineup in light of the newly added performances. The Hangout Beach, Music & Arts Festival returns to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama May 15-17 featuring headliners Beck, Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band and My Morning Jacket.

Jack Ü will now play the 9 -11 p.m. slot on the Boom Boom Tent stage on Friday, May 15, which was previously occupied by Umphrey’s McGee. Instead, Umphrey’s now only performs from 5 -6:15 p.m. on the Surf Stage and will be followed by Paramore who now play the Surf Stage from 7:30 -8:45 p.m. Friday evening.
