Hand Habits released a cover of Neil Young’s “I Believe In You.” The song appears on dirt, a new Hand Habits EP due February 19 via Saddle Creek.

Hand Habits mastermind Meg Duffy recorded dirt with Sasami Ashworth and Kyle Thomas (King Tuff) at the latter’s studio in a shared living situation in Los Angeles. Thomas co-produced “I Believe In You” with Meg, while Ashworth co-produced the previously released lead single “4th of july.”

Neil Young originally released “I Believe In You” on his 1970 studio album, After The Gold Rush. “There’s a foundation, and when there’s a foundation there’s opportunity to reimagine structures; physical and otherwise,” Duffy noted regarding “I Believe In You.”
