Hand Habits Performs For KEXP

Earlier this year, Hand Habits released their sophomore album placeholder. Following its release on March 1, the group led by Meg Duffy stopped by the Seattle-based independent radio station KEXP for a live session.

Recorded on March 26, the session finds the band working through four songs off their new LP. To start off the 28-minute performance, Hand Habits opens with title track “placeholder,” offering a reflective rendition of the mournful tune. From there, the indie rockers work through a cascading take on “pacify,” followed by an interview portion where Duffy speaks about the creation of the album. To close out the session, the group offers up performances of “are you serious?” and “jessica.”
