HAIM will release a new album entitled Women In Music Pt. III on April 24 via Columbia Records. Sisters Alana Haim, Danielle Haim and Este Haim also shared a video for the single “The Steps.”
“The Steps” follows previous singles “Summer Girl” and “Now I'm In It”, which will also appear on the new album. Danielle Haim produced Women In Music Pt. III alongside longtime collaborators Ariel Rechsthaid (Adele, Blood Orange) and Rostam Batmangli (Solange, Frank Ocean).
“The name came to me in a dream,” Danielle said in a statement, “and I woke up laughing so I told my sisters.”

“I liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way,” Alana added, “so it seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative. It made me think about some of our experiences more.” “I just thought it was funny” Este continued, “plus the initials are WIMP3.” Wimp is a hilarious word.”
HAIM co-wrote the single, “The Steps,” with Rechsthaid and Batmangli. They also teamed back up with frequent collaborator and renowned director Paul Thomas Anderson for the video. Watch it below:
