Guster are preparing to roll out their eighth studio album and first in nearly four years. Today, the band shared two songs from the currently untitled record and confirmed a batch of November dates in support of the LP.
The first two tracks from the long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s Evermotion are titled “Hard Times” and “Don’t Go.” Guster gave fans who attended their shows in Maine this past weekend CD samplers with both songs. Now, the tunes are available on streaming services including YouTube. “We’ve had such a blast touring these last couple of weeks and we feel the growing community that’s at the heart of what we do. It’s a pleasure to share new music with you, and the new songs feel like a proud and ambitious step for us,” reads a note from the group.
Guster’s 2018 Fall Tour is currently expected to begin at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on November 1. The quartet then brings the run to Baltimore, Charlottesville, Saxapahaw (North Carolina), Asheville, Birmingham, Louisville, St. Louis, Madison, Indianapolis, Detroit, Millvale (Pennsylvania) and Columbus. Presales for the November dates start on Wednesday, August 8 at 10 a.m. local time. Use the code “HARDTIMES” for access. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, August 10.
