Guster Shares ‘Digital Dumpster Set’ Performance

Guster shared their August 14 Digital Dumpster Set livestream, which originally aired via Amazon Music’s Twitch. The set was so named because the band played among a number of plastic dumpsters at Brattleboro Music Center in Vermont.

The Digital Dumpster Set comes after the band delivered a surprise performance in front of a metal dumpster in Laramie, Wyoming back in February. The DDS was substantially longer than the Laramie outing — with the band playing at least one song from seven of their eight studio albums — and got underway with the title track to their 2003 album, Keep It Together, ahead of “Endlessly” from their 2015 LP, Evermotion. The penultimate track on Guster’s 2006 effort, Ganging Up On The Sun, came next before “Hard Times” from their latest studio album, 2019’s Look Alive.

The band then took it back to 1997 with “X-Ray Eyes” from their sophomore record, Goldfly, followed by “Do You Love Me” from 2010’s Easy Wonderful. Guster then returned to Ganging Up with “Lightning Rod” and “Satellite” before delivering a tune from their 1999 album Lost And Gone Forever in “So Long.” A pair of Keep It Together tracks, “Amsterdam” and “Jesus On The Radio,” would close the set.
