Guster has announced a series of shows celebrating their 25th anniversary taking place on the East Coast this August. Guster On The Ocean will feature the band performing in three different locations in Portland, Maine.

First up is an August 11 performance aboard a ferry that will be traversing around Portland’s Casco Bay while Guster holds an intimate 200-person capacity concert at sea. The following evening will feature Guster at Thompson Point for a full show, with support from local acts Ghost Of Paul Revere and Spencer Albee. The August 12 concert will feature Guster backed for a portion of the show by the Maine Youth Rock Orchestra. On Sunday, August 13, Guster will participate in a kayaking trip from the Portland waterfront to a secluded spot on the Casco Bay where Guster will perform an acoustic set.

“I am excited for Guster fans to play in my backyard (well, maybe not literally) of Portland,” said Guster’s Adam Gardner. “We’ve put together a weekend of activities that showcases what makes Portland in its prime of summer so ridiculously awesome. Thompson’s Point is such a sweet location for a summertime show, right on the banks of the Fore River.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m. ET via this link. Limited tickets for the kayaking excursion and harbor ferry ride are exclusively available by lottery to Thompson’s Point show ticket purchasers who buy passes by June 30. Head here for further details.
