GRiZ released a new collaborative single, “Skydive.” The track features hip-hop artist ProbCause and vocalist Chrishira Perrier.

“Skydive” follows GRiZ’s LP, Chasing The Golden Hour 4, which arrived on September 23. While the new single, “Skydive,” doesn’t appear on the new full-length as its a bit of a departure from the album’s mellower material, GRiZ teamed back up with ProbCause and Perrier — who worked on the Golden Hour 4 cut “Airplane Mode” — for his latest single.

“A dramatic divergence from his recent Chasing The Golden Hour 4 LP, ‘Skydive’ is a meddlesome dubstep anthem filled with chaotic layers of wobbling distortion,” press materials for the new single noted. “Featuring hip-hop collaborator ProbCause and vocalist Chrishira Perrier, ‘Skydive’ twists and turns with dizzying basslines and charged countermelodies, unearthing a devious path for the pair’s hard-hitting vocals.

“Skydive is one of my favorite tracks from this past year and I’m so glad to finally have this one out,” GRiZ added. “It was so much fun to write with ProbCause and Chrishira. I hope you love it.”
