Next Friday GRiZ will issue a new album entitled Good Will Prevail. In advance of next week’s release on All Good Records, DJ/producer/sax player Grant Kwiecinski shared another single from the album, this one featuring guests Cherub.

“I originally wrote this song about my brothers ex-girlfriend but then it turned into a funky middle fingers up but celebratory and super swaggerific fuck you to anyone who done you mad dirty,” GRiZ told Billboard who premiered the track. “But the strong thing about a proper fuck you is to make sure you give them a nice condescending ‘hope life treats you swell.’”

Cherub, the duo of Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber, were “the perfect fit” to collaborate according to longtime friend GRiZ. He further explained:

While I was coming up with the hook, it was undeniable that somehow the whole time this song was being written for Cherub, they were the perfect fit. We’ve wanted to work on a song for a long time. GRiZ and Cherub is like wake and bake, starsky and hutch, doses and mimosas.
