GRiZ is bringing back his GRiZMAS concerts this holiday season following a two-year hiatus. The Michigan native’s Christmas-themed shows will take place on December 19 and 20 at the Masonic Temple in Detroit.
The EDM musician born Grant Kwiecinski will end a lengthy break from performing when he headlines his inaugural Valley Of The Seven Stars Festival in Arrington, Virginia October 10 – 12. GRiZ will then celebrate Halloween weekend in Chicago and play a pair of shows in November near San Francisco before returning to Detroit for GRiZMAS 2025.
GRiZMAS was first held in 2014 at Detroit’s Masonic Temple to cap a 12-day charity program that raised funds for increasing access to music education for youth in the city via Seven Mile. Eight additional installments followed through 2022. The event wasn’t held in 2023 and 2024 while GRiZ was on hiatus. This year’s shows mark the 10th GRiZMAS. Over a million dollars has been donated from GRiZMAS proceeds to Seven Mile.
Whethan and Austeria will open for GRiZ on Friday, December 19. Vincent Antone and Motifv kick off the action on Saturday, December 20.
Registration is currently underway for access to a presale on Thursday, July 24 at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets then go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m. ET.
