GRiZ released a new single, “Feel No Pain.” The track is the renowned producer’s first solo release following his July 2021 album, Rainbow Brain.
GRiZ (Grant Kwiecinski) recently unveiled “Feel No Pain” live during his set at Electric Forest in his home state of Michigan. The song carries Bob Marley’s immortal words from “Trenchtown Rock” — “One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain — sampled from Dead Prez’s classic “Hip-Hop.”
“It’s a summertime dubby banger with some fun funky sax and a line from one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time, originally sampled by Bob Marley,” Kwiecinski said of the new single. “Hopefully it inspires a feeling of easing the pain of all of the BS we’re going through as a country right now. Here’s a moment for you to dance and find some joy.”
