Gregory Alan Isakov Plots 2025 Symphony Orchestra Tour

The acclaimed singer-songwriter will perform with full symphony orchestras in cities across the U.S.

Gregory Alan Isakov confirmed a special headline tour for 2025 featuring the singer-songwriter and his band performing with full symphony orchestras in each city. The shows will include symphonic arrangements of songs from Isakov’s six studio albums including his most recent release Appaloosa Bones.

The orchestral versions were arranged by Tom Hagerman of DeVotchKa and Jay Clifford of Jump, Little Children. Renowned international conductors Christopher Dragon and Morihiko Nakahara will lead the orchestras.

The South African-born musician kicks off 2025 with several sold-out shows in January including Bellingham (Washington) on January 24, Olympia (Washington) on January 25, Eugene (Oregon) on January 27, Arcata (California) on January 28, Monterey (California) on January 30, San Francisco on January 31 and San Luis Obispo (California) on February 1.

February dates include Tucson on February 3, Dallas on February 5, and sold-out performances in San Antonio on February 6 and Austin on February 7.

The symphony portion of the tour begins in Nashville with The Nashville Symphony on March 11 and Chicago with the Chicago Philharmonic on March 13. Additional March dates include Greensboro (North Carolina) with the Greensboro Symphony on March 16, Asheville with the Asheville Symphony on March 18 and Charleston (South Carolina) with the Charleston Symphony Orchestraon March 19. Two nights in Tysons (Virginia) with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra follow on March 21 and 22, before a pair of Atlanta shows featuring the Atlanta Pops Orchestra on March 23 and 24.

Gregory Alan Isakov will support at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on March 27 and perform with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall on March 29. Additionally, Isakov will perform two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison (Colorado) on August 31 and September 1.

Tickets for the newly announced symphony dates go on sale Friday, December 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
