Gregg Allman Welcomes Peter Frampton In Raleigh

Gregg Allman recently completed a handful of co-bill shows with Peter Frampton. Peter sat-in with Gregg and his talented band a few times including on versions of “Dreams” and “One Way Out.” A video of Frampton guesting with the Gregg Allman Band on “Dreams” can be viewed below thanks to MusicMan28401:

The sit-in above took place at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh on July 22. Allman Band guitarist Scott Sharrard spoke with Jambands.com about the guest spot. “Having Peter Frampton join us for ‘Dreams’ the other night was a blast. In my early teens two of the most important albums I was turned on to were Humble Pie Rockin’ the Fillmore & of course the Allman Brothers’ At Fillmore East.” The guitarist added, “Seeing Gregg and Peter share the stage was surreal in that regard! Peter is also still playing his ass off and has a great band. Our double bill summer tour has been a real treat for us all.”
