Gregg Allman Makes Surprise Appearance At Terrapin

Those in attendance at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, California were treated to quite the surprise, when legendary rocker Gregg Allman played a short set at the bar last night.

Allman, who was accompanied by members of his Dookie Shoe ensemble, came on after the David Nelson Band finished up in the Grate Room and Cochrane McMillan and Friends were done with a bar set. Gregg delivered renditions of “Ain’t Wasting Time No More” and “One Way Out” for the amazed spectators, as per photographer Bob Minkin. Next up for Gregg is a performance at Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis on March 27.
