Earlier today an Iowa radio station reported Gregg Allman had entered hospice care. Allman has just issued a note addressing his health following his manager contradicting the report regarding hospice and the co-founding member of The Allman Brothers Band.

Gregg revealed he is “currently home in Savannah resting on my doctor’s orders.” He ended the note with an optimistic thought of, “Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Keep Rockin’.” Here’s the full text of Gregg Allman’s note:

“Hey everyone. I just wanted y’all to know that I’m currently home in Savannah resting on my doctor’s orders. I want to thank you for all the love that you are sending. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Keep Rockin’ “

According to Variety, Allman’s manager denied the report that the 69-year-old musician had entered hospice care. Last month Gregg cancelled all future tour dates.
