Greensky Bluegrass Launches ‘Live From The Archive’ Series

Greensky Bluegrass will dig into their vault for the Live From The Archive video series featuring entire sets, rare cuts and behind the scenes footage to give live music lovers another entertainment option during the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak pandemic. Live From The Archive begins tonight, Wednesday, March 18 at 9 p.m. ET via Facebook and YouTube with the premiere of pro-shot video featuring GSBG’s first set on November 28, 2014 at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
“we’ve been looking thru the archives for things to release for you watch at home. so tonight, set one from the kalamazoo state theatre 2014,” wrote GSBG mandolinist Paul Hoffman in a statement. “this was the end of a long fall tour. 40+ dates. remember that methane skull print? If Sorrows Swim was new. kalamazoo bookend’ed the fall with the release of that album on 9/9/14. let’s get together at 9 pm ET and roll back the years. ill join you!”

Viewers will be able to chat on Facebook as the footage premieres. Hoffman will participate and share his thoughts on the show as well as answer questions from those watching.
