Greensky Bluegrass’ Dave Bruzza To Miss Trip To Australia While Recovering From Surgery

Greensky Bluegrass will soon head to Australia for multiple appearances at Bluesfest festivals. Guitarist Dave Bruzza will not join his bandmates on the voyage as he needs time to heal from recent surgery.

Bruzza underwent the surgery a few weeks back. “The procedure went as planned and I am healing up nicely and will need some more time to continue to heal so I sadly will not be traveling to Australia with the band,” the guitarist wrote on GSBG’s social feeds. He also noted that while he’ll be on hand at this weekend’s WinterWonderGrass Tahoe festival, he won’t be able to perform.

Greensky Bluegrass enlisted old pal Mark Morris of Rapidgrass to fill in on guitar for Bruzza. Morris recently sat-in with Greensky at WinterWonderGrass Colorado.
