Greensky Bluegrass swung through Minglewood Hall in Memphis on Wednesday night as part of their 2019 fall tour. The bluegrass quintet busted out a cover of Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine” halfway through the first set.

Greensky kicked things off with “Demons” followed by “200 Miles From Montana,” “Don’t Lie” and “The Four” before offering up Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine” for the first time since last performing the song in 2013. “Wheel Hoss” came next ahead of a continuous block of “Wish I Didn’t Know,” a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “China Cat Sunflower,” “Burn Them” and “Reuben’s Train.” The band would return to “Burn Them” to close out the first frame.

The second set got underway with “Can’t Stop Now” followed by the day-appropriate “Casual Wednesday” and “What Happened to Jim?” A “Leap Year” sandwich came next with Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady” in the middle. Greensky continued with “Ashes,” “Hit Parade of Love” and “Dustbowl Overtures” before bringing the second set to a close with “Train Junkie.”

Greensky retook the stage for a single-song encore of “Do It Alone.” Check out a clip of “Ain’t No Sunshine” captured by wsmfpilgrims1013 below:
