Great South Bay Music Festival 2026 Taps Andy Falco To Curate Bob Weir Tribute
Members of Leftover Salmon, Dark Star Orchestra and more will join The Infamous Stringdusters guitarist for the set honoring the late Grateful Dead co-founder.

Great South Bay Music Festival will host a tribute to late Grateful Dead co-founding guitarist Bob Weir. The set led by Long Island’s own Andy Falco is set for Sunday, July 26, the fourth and final day of the annual event at Shorefront Park in Patchogue, New York.
The Infamous Stringdusters guitarist recruited four of his musical friends for the set honoring Bobby at the 2026 Great South Bay Muic Festival. Andy Falco will be joined by guitarist Rob Eaton (Dark Star Orchestra) drummer Alwyn Robinson (Leftover Salmon), keyboardist Eric Finland (Eric Krasno Band, Krasno Moore Project, Son Little) and his brother, bassist Patrick Falco (The Falco Brothers, Cosmic Orchestra).
“Expect timeless jams, soulful improvisation, and that unmistakable Dead energy taking over the shoreline,” as per an announcement of the set. My Morning Jacket and Little Feat, two acts with links to Bob Weir and the Grateful Dead family, top the bill on the last day of the festival.
Great South Bay Music Festival returns to Patchogue’s Shorefront Park July 23 – 26, 2026. Other artists on the eclectic lineup include Sublime, Gov’t Mule, The Used, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Sierra Hull, Common Kings, Bayside and LaMP.
