Great Blue will embark on their first tour in five years this May. The run from the band Peter Anspach co-founded before joining Goose will play four headlining tour dates and make a festival appearance between May 17 – 22.
The brief excursion starts at Philadelphia’s Milkboy on May 17. Great Blue then hits Providence on May 18 and Saratoga Springs, New York on May 19 before a set at Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s Domefest in Thornville, Ohio on May 21. The quartet concludes the trek at Flour City Station in Rochester, New York on May 22. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. ET.
Great Blue consists of Anspach on guitar and vocals along with bassist Seth Zucker, drummer Nick Hanna and keyboardist/guitarist Ethan Michael. The four-piece was formed while the musicians were in high school. Songs from the band’s repertoire have become Goose staples and Great Blue has performed sporadically since Peter joined Goose in 2018.
