Grateful Shred To Host Paradise Waits Rex Foundation Benefit At The Fillmore

The annual benefit concert takes place December 6 at The Fillmore in San Francisco.

The Rex Foundation selected Grateful Shred as headliners for “Paradise Waits,” the organization’s annual benefit concert at The Fillmore in San Francisco on December 6.

Grateful Shred will perform two full sets at the event after a pre-show reception featuring gourmet food and drinks from Silver Oak, Twomey and Winery Sixteen 600 and a selection of local microbrews. A curated silent auction will showcase specialized art, Grateful Dead memorabilia and more.

Established in 1983 by the Grateful Dead family and friends, the Rex Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a healthy environment, encouraging artistic individuality, supporting vital social services, aiding those in need, defending the rights and cultural survival of indigenous people, strengthening communities, and promoting education for all ages. The foundation provides grants to small nonprofit organizations working in these focus areas.
