Grateful Dead & Trey Anastasio Record Store Day Releases

On Record Store Day hundreds of artists will release titles available only at independent record stores on April 18. Today, RSD organizers unveiled the full list of special releases due this Record Store Day which includes titles from the Grateful Dead and Trey Anastasio in addition to releases from Phish and Jerry Garcia we’ve reported on earlier.

Rhino will release Grateful Dead -Wake Up To Find Out: Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale NY 3/29/90 for the first time on vinyl this Record Store Day. The show features the first time Branford Marsalis sat in with the Dead. The release is a 5-LP set on black, 180-gram vinyl containing nine sides of music and one side etching.

Trey Anastasio’s Rubber Jungle label will issue “Bounce” and “Never” on 7″ vinyl for Record Store Day. Only 1,000 copies of Anastasio’s single from the forthcoming Paper Wheels LP will be available housed in a full printed jacket.

Gov’t Mule, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Gregg Allman and Mumford & Sons are just a few of the other artists putting out special Record Store Day releases. See the full list here.
