The Grateful Dead shared pro-shot video of “Eyes Of The World” for this week’s installment in the band’s All The Years Live video series. The footage comes from the Dead’s June 11, 1993 concert at Buckeye Lake Music Center in Hebron, Ohio.
Back in February, GD released video of “So Many Roads” and in April footage from the ’93 Buckeye show arrived as part of the GD streaming series Shakedown Stream. Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux detailed the “Eyes” from Ohio in the video notes.

Read Lemieux’s notes below:
“Throughout the 1980s, ‘Eyes Of The World’ was played at a quicker and quicker tempo, and its length was curtailed. In March 1990, though, the Dead brought back the slower tempo, akin to the 1974 arrangement of ‘Eyes,’ and from 1990-1995 there were countless wonderful, patient versions of this standout from 1973’s Wake Of The Flood. Like many renditions from March 1990 onward, this one from Buckeye Lake opened the second set.”
