Grateful Dead Documentary ‘Long Strange Trip’ Screenings Set For May 25

As reported theaters in New York City and Los Angeles will host screenings of the long-awaited Grateful Dead documentary Long Strange Trip starting on May 26. Today, the film’s producers have revealed a list of theaters across the country that will host one-night screening events on May 25.
The film from director Amir Bar-Lev includes many never-before-seen interviews, footage and photos combined with a career-spanning soundtrack focusing of the Grateful Dead’s live performances. Long Strange Trip marks the first time Amazon Original Movies and Amazon Original Series have partnered on an original project to be released in both theaters and on Prime. Amazon Prime Video subscribers will be able to watch the lengthy documentary starting on June 2 for no additional cost.
