UPDATE -4/17 12 p.m. PT: Dave’s Picks Volume 14 is now available for pre-order ahead of its May 1 release. Limited to 16,500 individually numbered copies, Dave’s Picks Volume 14 has been mastered to HDCD specs by Jeffrey Norman and features liner notes by Jesse Jarnow and illustrations by Micah Nelson. Watch Dave’s Seaside Chat about the new release:

The next installment of Grateful Dead Dave’s Picks, volume 14, will feature the complete show the band played at the Academy Of Music in New York City on March 26, 1972. Those who have suscribed to Dave’s Picks 2015 will receive a bonus disc featuring other selections from the Dead’s Academy Of Music run. Unlike many previous Grateful Dead live archival selections, a soundboard recording of the Dead’s March 26, 1972 performance has never circulated.

“We’re really thrilled to reveal that Dave’s Picks Vol. 14, another complete show in the series, is from the majestic (and highly sought-after!) gig on March 26, 1972 at the Academy Of Music in New York City. In addition to powerful workouts on the usual 1972 jamming vehicles ‘The Other One’ and ‘Good Lovin’,’ this show features the prototype of what would be become the typical Europe ’72 setlist a couple of weeks later. Our 2015 Dave’s Picks subscribers’ Bonus Disc (available for only a couple of more days if you subscribe) is drawn from a couple of other unreleased nights at the Academy Of Music during the Dead’s week-long run before they left for Europe,” Lemieux wrote.

Here’s the setlist from the show featured on Dave’s Picks Vol. 14:

Set One: Greatest Story Ever Told, Cold Rain and Snow, Chinatown Shuffle, Black Throated Wind, You Win Again, Mr. Charlie, Jack Straw, Loser, Looks Like Rain, Big Railroad Blues, Big Boss Man, Playing in the Band

Set Two: Truckin’ > Drums > The Other One > Me and My Uncle > The Other One > Wharf Rat, Not Fade Away > Goin’ Down the Road Feeling Bad > Not Fade Away
