Grateful Dead Completes 2017 ’30 Days Of Dead’ Series

Each November the Grateful Dead opens their massive vault to share free downloads for Dead.net’s 30 Days Of Dead series. Today, the 30th track has been posted and the entire series can be downloaded below or head to Dead.net/30daysofdead to read about each track and download individually.

Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux selected each track shared and there are plenty of gems in this year’s series. Some of the highlights include perhaps the best “Unbroken Chain” the band played, a wild “The Other One” > “Stella Blue” > “The Other One” > “Sugar Magnolia” sequence, a “Help/Slip/Franklin’s” that gives way to a jam, an adventurous “Seastones” > “Playing” and beautiful versions of late-era GD nuggets “Lazy River Road” and “So Many Roads.” Lemieux never fails to impress and this year’s series is no exception.
