The Grace Potter-headlined and hosted Grand Point North music festival returns to Waterfront Park in Burlington, Vermont September 15 and 16. Potter, in conjunction with Higher Ground Presents, has revealed the initial lineup for this year’s event.
Grace Potter is joined on the bill by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Magpie Salute, Mt. Joy, Caroline Rose, Darlingside, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds and Greg Holden. Once again, the festival will feature a number of local and regional acts with the Seth Yacovone Band, West End Blend, Harsh Armadillo, Clever Girls, JUPTR, Julia Caesar and Miku Daza rounding out the lineup for Grand Point North ’18.
“We are thrilled to have Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats return to Vermont after their sold out show at the Shelburne Museum,” said Alex Crothers of Higher Ground Presents in a statement. “Everyone should keep their eyes peeled to our website and social media. We’ll be announcing one more artist very soon.”
Potter and Higher Ground Presents put together the first Grand Point North in 2011. Last year was the only time in the event’s now eight-year history the Vermont-bred musician didn’t headline both nights, as Grace closed out the action on Saturday while the Trey Anastasio Band wrapped up the festival on Sunday.
Two-day tickets are on sale now via the festival’s website. Single day tickets will be available for purchase soon.
