Brandi Carlile, Beyoncé, Adele & Molly Tuttle Among 2023 Grammy Award Nominees

The 65th Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on February 5.

Brandi Carlile, Adele, Beyoncé and Molly Tuttle were among those receiving nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards. The 65th Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on February 5 in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena.

The 2023 Grammys will be the first to feature five new categories: Songwriter Of The Year (Non-Classical), Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Americana Performance, Best Score Soundtrack For Video Games And Other Interactive Media, Best Spoken Word Poetry Album and a Special Merit Award for Best Song For Social Change.

Beyoncé was nominated in 10 categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Music Album, Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Song Written for Visual Media and Best Remixed Recording.

Carlile received seven nominations including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Americana Performance, Best American Roots Song and Best Americana Album.

Adele is up in seven categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Music Video and Best Music Film.

Molly Tuttle was nominated in two categories, Best New Artist and Best Bluegrass Album. Joining Tuttle in the Best Bluegrass Album nominees list is Yonder Mountain String Band, The Del McCoury Band, The Infamous Stringdusters and Peter Rowan.

Additional notable nominations include Bonnie Raitt (Song of the Year, Best Americana Performance, Best American Roots Song), Gov’t Mule (Best Traditional Blues Album), Aoife O’Donovan & Allison Russell (Best American Roots Performance, Best American Roots Song), Aoife O’Donovan (Best Folk Album), The Black Keys (Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song), The War on Drugs (Best Rock Song) and Tank and the Bangas (Best Progressive R&B Album) among others.
