Once again Grace Potter will host the Grand Point North music festival at Burlington’s Waterfront Park in Vermont on September 16 and 17. Today, Potter has announced the lineup for Grand Point North ’17.

While Grace generally headlines both nights of the festival, this time around she will still perform on both nights and headline Saturday, but the Trey Anastasio Band will headline on Sunday. Led by Phish frontman Trey Anastasio, this will be the first TAB show in Burlington since 2011. “This is a very special year for Grand Point North,” said Grace Potter in a statement. “Growing up, I went to countless Phish concerts and the band was synonymous with the vibrant Vermont music scene. It’s truly humbling to come full circle and have Trey headline Sunday at the Waterfront. I have a feeling this year is going to be one for the books.”

Dawes, Mondo Cozmo, Joseph, Hurray For The Riff Raff, Low Cut Connie, Son Little and Tank & The Bangas are also among the acts set to play Grand Point North ’17. Local acts performing this year include smalltalker, Lake Superior, SnakeFoot, Henry Jamison, Barika, The Welterweights and Eastern Mountain Time.

“After the tremendous success of last year it was hard to imagine how we might top it this year. The addition of Trey to the lineup resolved that challenge. We’re thrilled to have TAB headline on Sunday and play a two hour set to close out the festival. Vermont’s enduring spirit of collaboration and community will be on display with two of the state’s biggest musical artists on one stage at Grand Point North this September, ” said Alex Crothers, the festival promoter.

Two-day tickets are on sale now with one-day tickets get to up for grabs on May 5.
