While Gov’t Mule‘s Friday night concert at The Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park, New Jersey was cut short due to a storm, the band has a treat for fans. Mule are offering up MP3s of the official recording for free via MuleTracks.com.

The quartet made it through their opening set without any weather issues on Friday. After opening with a take on The Staple Singers’ “Hammer & Nails,” the band moved through “Rocking Horse” and then worked “Mountain Jam” into “Game Face.” Classics “Beautifully Broken” and “Birth Of The Mule” gave way to a cover of Al Green’s “I’m A Ram” and a “Broke Down On The Brazos” that led into a “Tributary Jam.” Gov’t Mule kicked off the ill-fated second set with “Stone Cold Rage” before the weather derailed the show after “Kind Of Bird.”
