Gov’t Mule Confirms 2 Shows In New Orleans During Jazz Fest

Gov’t Mule will continue a tradition of performing in New Orleans during Jazz Fest this spring with a twist. This year, the quartet will play two shows at the Orpheum Theater with the first scheduled for April 27 and the second set for May 4.

Mule’s history in New Orleans dates back to January 1996, during the group’s second year of existence. Warren Haynes & Co. have welcomed an impressive array of guests to share the stage with them in the Crescent City including a “New School Of Gov’t Mule show” with Dave Schools and Chuck Leavell in 2001 and of course their famed “The Deepest End” tribute to the late Allen Woody in 2003. More recently, Mule was joined by a horn section, Eric Krasno, Alvin Youngblood Hart and more in 2017 and Don Was, Marcus King and Smokey Greenwell in 2018.

Tickets for both Mule NOLA 2019 shows go on sale this Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m.
