Saturday saw Gov’t Mule taking part in The Mighty Giveback benefit concert on the outdoor stage at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, North Carolina. The concert in Mule guitarist Warren Haynes‘ home state saw the band welcoming Mighty Giveback performer Edwin McCain and breaking out a trio of covers.

Presented by Band Together North Carolina, The United Way of the Greater Triangle and other organizations, The Mighty Giveback help to raise funds for mental healthcare accessibility in the Triangle region of North Carolina. Along with Gov’t Mule, Young Gun Silver Fox and Edwin McCain performed in Raleigh on Saturday.

The cover-heavy set two also saw Mule unshelving ‘s “Effigy” for the first time since 2023. The show came to a close with another break out cover, Elmore James’ “I Can’t Hold Out.”
