Gov’t Mule and Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr covered The Allman Brothers Band together at the Ribs & Blues Festival in Raalte, Netherlands. Starr, whose band performed on Saturday at the festival as well, added additional guitar and vocals to a rendition of “Blue Sky.” Mule frontman Warren Haynes also sat-in with Blackberry Smoke during their set, adding his own additional guitar and vocals to the Allmans’ “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More.”
Haynes addressed the festival audience while welcoming Starr to the stage, explaining that they frequently collaborate in the United States and were excited to get to play together for the European audience.
