On April 28, Gorillaz were the musical guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, performing the track “Let Me Out” from their latest release Humanz with the help of Mavis Staples and Pusha T.

In addition to their scheduled performance Damon Albarn & Co. also participated in the second installment of The Late Show’s new digital series “Bonus Track.” The new episode, which debuted yesterday, features backstage interviews with Albarn, Melanie Charles and Starr Busby from The Humanz (Gorillaz Choir), and Humanz producer The Twilite Tone, as well as three additional songs the band recorded during their time at the Ed Sullivan Theater.

In addition to their televised performance of “Let Me Out,” Gorillaz also recorded takes on the Humanz tracks “She’s My Collar,” with Kali Uchis and “Strobelite,” with Peven Everett. The band also treated the audience to a version of “Feel Good Inc.,” from their 2005 album Demon Days, that saw Late Show host Stephen Colbert showing off his rapping skills performing the lyrical part originally done by De La Soul.
