Gorillaz Release Video For New Song ‘Sleeping Powder’

2017 has seen the return of Gorillaz, as the band recently released a new album entitled Humanz. However, the virtual group isn’t done rolling out new material. Today, Gorillaz have unveiled the video for “Sleeping Powder,” their first new song since they issued Humanz.

As noted by Pitchfork, Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn had previously told Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe there were dozens of tracks that didn’t make the LP. “I’m just sort of slowly going through all tunes that sort of didn’t work out and finishing them,” Albarn said. “Sleeping Powder” is the initial taste of Gorillaz’s post-Humanz output.
