Gorillaz Perform Live At WFUV

Two days before the April 28 release of their new album Humanz, WFUV welcomed Gorillaz to its New York City headquarters for an in-studio performance. The live session at the radio station yielded footage of four songs that appear on the well-received studio LP.
Frontman Damon Albarn led the ensemble that gathered within WFUV’s Studio A. He was joined by special guest Jamie Principle on a rendition of “Sex Murder Party.” The performance of the album track “Strobelite” was aided by guest Peven Everett.
The session also saw takes on Humanz singles “Saturnz Bars” and “Andromeda.” Watch the Gorillaz WFUV set below:
