Gorillaz Share New Single ‘How Far?’ Featuring Tony Allen & Skepta

Gorillaz shared a new single, “How Far?” featuring Tony Allen and Skepta as part of their Song Machine series as well as a tribute to Allen. The legendary afrobeat drummer died on April 30.

Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn and Tony Allen — who played drums with fellow afrobeat legend Fela Kuti and many more — were friends and collaborators. The new track sees Skepta rapping over a Tony Allen beat and the YouTube audio features an image of Gorillaz’ animated members paying their respects to the renowned drummer.
