Gorillaz have announced the establishment of three interactive “spirit houses” being hosted in Brooklyn, Berlin and Amsterdam. The animated rock band teamed with Sonos to present the immersive audio visual experiences.

Gorillaz will issue their first new album in six years, Humanz, on April 28. As Pitchfork pointed out, the video for one of the four singles released so far from the new LP, “Saturnz Barz,” was titled “Spirit House” and featured an interactive 360 version. The first spirit house will be open in Brooklyn at Industria on April 21 – 23. Berlin’s spirit house will be available to visit at Brunnenstrasse between April 28 and April 30. The Amsterdam spirit house will be accessible at Gabriel Rolt Gallery on May 6.

Described as “a place where fans can go deeper into the band’s dark, fantasy world and be dazzled by spectacular visual,” the spirit house events are free. RSVP via this link.
